I love how it ends up putting you on your back. The only painful part is when it drops to the lower track.

Yeah its a very wierd sensation. And the drops quick release is very sudden making the drop very effective.

Is anyone afraid of the reliability of this ride and track record Dorney has had with "refurbished" rides?! I know they have a pretty decent maintenance staff and try their best, but with guest constantly getting stranded on Demon Drop and Possessed, idk if Dorney can handle the possible ride stoppage issues.

I think they should be okay. The maintenance guys are pretty solid and do a good job. I know some of the personally and it sounds like they are well prepared for any issues that might come along.

Off topic but were you working the night the power flashed off for a second? It was maybe 4 weeks ago I think because it was the last time I was there.
What are these for?

^ Fun times. Too bad I was off that day. Heard about all the chaos from other people.

Also, to anyone whom might have noticed yesterday, Talon went down and what-not. As of 4:00 ish it has re-opened. Not sure if you know dmillz but I thought that since its your ride.

To be honest, the park internally know this ride is not a big deal and is not playing it up in the local media outlets. I think our PR people know its a pile of crap.

Six Flags Great America had that for quite some time.

I was working at Talon the night the power flickered yes CKidd. We re-opened Talon within about 20 minutes. We were lucky because the system did not make us redo all our tests like block checks and stuff. We lost power for a split second, while most other coasters lost power for 10-15 seconds, so they had to redo EVERYTHING. I heard from guests we were the only major ride along with Screamin' Swing and Hang Time to re-open. The about a half hour after we re-opened the system had a block error and we were closed for another 20 minutes. I believe that day we closed in the morning for weather, had a lift stop because someone took their seatbelt off, had the power outage, and then the ride error all in the same day. That night was crazy lol.

Finally I can stop keeping it a secret! (secret?)

Stinger is official for Dorney in 2012.

While I agree the ride is nothing stellar, I love the logo and bought my t-shirt already.

Vekoma Boomerangs are the only type of roller coaster that I do not particularly enjoy riding, primarily because I always find myself having a large headache after riding them and of course dizzy. No other type of roller coaster does that to me, I still ride them, for example when I was at Kings Island last weekend, I just make sure it is one of the last things I get on if I do care to ride it.
I get the same sensation from Frisbee's like Delirium (suits the name) and MaXair.
Only two ride types I find myself avoiding... Boomerangs and Frisbees, haha. But regardless they are still fun while riding, and it'll be a nice addition to Dorney, which seems to be the dumping ground for cedar fair. (In a good way) [lol]

I like the colors alot better than the yellow and blue and the logo is pretty awsome. also I didn't know this was a face-to-face.
What are these for?

I like the Invertigo rides better than the Boomerangs.

I have wanted a GCI there for years that would go behind Steel Force. Now that Dinosaurs Alive is going back there this pretty much kills the chance for that. I know what the plan for 2013 is too and it's going to be a long time coming but don't expect a major coaster anytime soon for Dorney.

I just want to see a new not used form anywhere else major ride in 2013. The Planet (That has the theme of a camp, go figure that out.) Snoopy was a start.
