Hahahahaha you shut up. You never even had Chang...only as a waypoint for another park. If anything, I should blame you for taking Chang from US Kentuckians. You never truly owned it.

Just sayin'.

Actually we had plans to build it.... I saw them at the village board meeting where it was approved for a height variance.

Well you still took it from us. Six Flags dropped SF:KK and took Chang with them.

Not that I really care though, I never visited SF:KK very much at all. Chang was its best ride though, and they took it out. So no reason to go anymore (and now it's closed).

And it's not that "you" took it from "us" (it was Six Flags moving rides), but remember that our ride was taken also. [:P]

^ You would have to put it in some sort of huge glass tube because of the wind at 2,000ft... Nevertheless, at that altitude that would be around 14 seconds of freefall? I hope that's right for the math police in here...

Did Six Flags announce anything to be going into Deja Vu's place?
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Not really sure what can fit into Deja Vu's old spot, its pretty small and crowded, I was surprised Deja Vu was able fit in there at all. It'd be nice if they just left it empty and added some trees and benches to that spot.

On second thought, when has SF been known to use prime ride area for guest comforts. eff it! they should build a water attraction there, I mean the park only has 4 and it is in the desert. I just hope if they do build a water ride there it's not one of those generic raft water slides that all the smaller SF parks have.

I just went to SFNE yesterday. I was excited when they announced their new coaster "Goliath," and I imagined it was going to be a new B&M, possibly similar to the one in Atlanta or Laronde. I have to say that I'm somewhat disappointed that they are putting in an inverted boomerang, and not something either a little more hefty or unique. By the way, I really love what they did with cyclone!

Another thing: though I personally love all the big thrill rides, I made the mistake of going with a friend who doesn't and wanted to go on something a little less intense. What I noticed while I was there is that they seem to *mostly* have either kiddie rides or much more intense stuff without a lot of anything in between. I would imagine that this would seriously impact the types of visitors that go there. Isn't it supposed to be a "family" park? I can't imagine that your typical grandmother is as likely to want to ride batman as a 15 year old. Plus I don't think one goes straight from riding kiddie rides to some of the big ones there. I also noticed that there were fewer flat rides and they were disassembling the scrambler :( I wonder how many rides they are going to have to trash to put in Goliath?? It seems that the number of rides in that park are getting fewer and the lines will get longer!

I may be unpopular to say this, but I think that SFNE is lacking in variety much more than it used to be.

I just hope they treat the Drop Tower nicely. Superman has always been a bitch...not sure how it is now (in terms of maintenance), but I hope they're able to launch a train from Superman as a train/shuttle? reaches the top of the tower.

BTW...a question for all you smart people...if the ride is on the tower, which I'm sure vibrates like a nuclear dildo, would that mean that more maintenance would have to be run/ran/w/e because of bolts and stuff becoming loose from the vibrations...does that even happen? Vibration + Bolts and stuff = loosening of the bolts.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

^ Cooler? Those trains look an order of magnitude worse than the normal trains, and that's without the restraints factored in.

Deja Vu sucked. It wasn't anything special. I am glad it's gone from SFMM. Notice there is like a tunnel through the supports of Apocolypse? I'm thinking something new will come that will go through there. [:)]

I loved it when I rode at SFGAm. The spike behind the station is one of the scariest and most thrilling parts of any ride if you sit in the back, IMO. I might even put the experience up there with Chiller, which was always an exciting ride to me between the pacing, visuals, and forces.
