So to kick off autumn i made an extremely compact x car called reactor. It fits around the autumn season quite a bit. Personally its one of the coolest things i think i've ever built because its such a well rounded design. I originally used the template for that xcar contest, but after realizing that it was supposed to be a "launched" coaster, i couldn't enter.

That doesn't matter though. This coaster is awesome in my opinion haha.

Element breakdown:
-Vertical Lift
-Steep Drop
-Immelman (with a huge drop coming out of it)
-Strange zero g roll thing that flows amazingly
-Vertical Loop
-Lateral Turn (yes, lats on an x car (love it)
-Corkscrew
-Tons of Airtime!!! (13 moments of airtime ranging from floater to -1.2 ejector)

Here are some pics.

Yup, anyways i hope you like what you see. none of it will change layout wise. so if you don't like the shaping you'll just have to save it for the rating i guess.

one last note, would anyone like to do some simple 3ds work for me? just a simple station or anything like that? if so please PM me. If you volunteer, i will be eternally thankful and rate every single ride you produce. Basically though i really want this coaster to feel autumny (or even holloweenish).

The transition in this picture is at a more flat(?) angle than yours, plus your immelmann is to pointy.

just want to point out that the element you are comparing mine to isn't an immelman...Its a dive loop. i have no intention of changing my ride to look anything like that monstrosity.

its a dive loop. the diagram that you've just posted is wrong. also just want to point out that xcar's are very intamin-like in their ways. They don't necessarily have a "uniform" shaping rule like B&M's do, but i appreciate the comments. either way, the diagram is totally wrong.

I agree with the shaping thing, but that diagram is not necessarily wrong. Its from maurer sohnes site lol. Some elements differ in name depending on the Manufacturer.

these "elements" originated from areal maneuvers derived from fighter pilots. Dive loops are essentially the reverse of immelmans. the diagram, as well as the "manufacturer's label" is wrong... case closed.

who gives a crap? Just make it however you want it, as long as it's realistic to SOME style, and manufacturable. I don't get what the problem is with making a B&M shaped dive loop on an X-Car. I mean, they have similar heartlines and everything.....

Agreed, and besides, tmv's immelman exits at a much different angle than the dive loop RWN posted enters. Thus, they will, by definition, have very different shaping. Plus, his is taller, is run with longer (I'm assuming, anyway) trains, and, most of all, isn't a goddamned dive loop.

I will, however, state my reasoning for letting shaping discrepancies slide here: the just aren't enough X-cars out there to really give them a "style". Yes, the little ones all have nearly identical shaping, but it turns out that shaping doesn't scale so well most of the time. There's really only one or two full-size X-Cars, and they don't really have a big variety of elements. Thus, I say anything goes on X-Cars.
