A small update for you guys.

Track is on site.

Also some steel has been erected for the station construction.

I am really liking the main track colour and seeing the colour of the support connectors I think this is going to be a nicely coloured coaster.

I will admit The Swarm is themed way better, the actual ride of X-Flight will be better. More inversions, longer, and some insane effects. I do admit Thorpe Park has a great addition in The Swarm

They come both from the factory in Ohio and the track for The Swarm is not made in Ohio.

That track is the same colour as the plans say The Swarm's colour will be, so yunno.

Anyway it looks like the station track is in now, but seeing as that's on ground level anyway it's not too exciting.

I am expecting the track to go up fairly quickly. I am liking the colour scheme even more now seeing it in the flesh.

Gonna be a very unusual, but very interesting ride. I look forward to seeing how it comes out. Like with Raptor, it's very much an awkward layout, but for some reason I still like it.

[lol] How does that even happen? If only we had video footage of it happening in real time...

Ok, I'll ask the question; why exactly is that piece of track in the water?

You'll have to excuse me for my lack on knowledge on this project as my heart is currently invested in a construction project much closer to home.

But; one can only assume that the track has certainly not been "dropped" into the water by accident, as gazag appears to suggest it may have been. Seeing as if that were the case, the HSE would have been there like a shot to shut the project down while there was an investigation. It must have been deliberately put there, but for what reason? It seems quite peculiar.

Don't start with any crackpot ideas like "they're washing the track" or anything, either! [lol]

Simply a temporary resting place for the track, which they have been forced to use because the construction site is so condensed? I'm not sure because I don't actually think that it is a particularly condensed site.

Could it be a piece of theming? Probably unlikely, seeing as we're still very early in the construction and I highly doubt actual track pieces would be used as theming...

So someone, plz hlp - this is confusing me!

Flooded site, perhaps? That's my best guess, especially considering that it is in England...

I'm not quite sure. When you see this:

I think you can wonder if it's not particularly consensed because that rolling piece of track looks like nearly falling into water..

[lol]

Contrary to popular belief, we've had an exceptionally dry year this year. Were this not a man-made, man-controlled body of water, I think the water would be lower than usual, rather than higher, at the moment.

Interesting image, LeFlo. Perhaps the site is more condensed than I thought.
