problem is my computer turns off by itself after intense use and letting it sit around for a few minutes. I tend to abuse my computer to the max, I have made it pay off every penny it has costed me literally. Anyway, whatever that's not the point, thing is I use it to the extreme and when I stop using it for a few minutes, it tends to restart it self, or just lock up. It's as if it likes to be abused, however when I use it, it tends to freeze for a bit, it also tends to lag many of the times. I bought it last year in April. it's a 1.6 ghz computer, 512 ddr ram, ge force 3 ti 200, uhmmm dunno, if you can help and need more info just ask, just a real annoyance to see it happens since often times I am waiting for important stuff to come around or stuff and it goes off by itself, and it's sneaky too, it does it when I leave my room, and no, there is no one in my house that would know how to turn it on, much less off. [lol]

LOL! My old comp used to start up exactly at 12:00 AM, every night(Or morning if u wanna get technical). I'd be sleeping until I hear "Beep!" followed by the fans kickin' in and harddrive hums, followed by the Windows 95/98 start up sfx. Most nights, I was just lazy and left it run until I got up the next day. Well, atleast it was pre-booted up for me

It sounds like a heat problem. First thing to try is run your box with the side panel open. If that helps, check the fans or the heat sink (you might need to either add a fan, replace a fan, or even invest in a cooling system). Processors like shutting the whole thing down when they're under heat ;-).
