the following is the rank of the parks with the most inversions, as well as the number in each park. I was suprised to see that CP is tied for 8th highest, which shows that a lot of inversions dont always make a good park.

Paramount Canada's Wonder land is tied with CP, with only half the coasters!

Wow, Scream! really boosted SFMM. But truth be told, SFMM is nothing compared to CP. A good number of SFMM coasters are clones. CP has only one major coaster (Rapter I think) that has been cloned someplace else.

No, Orchi is a clone of Raptor. It's in some park outside of the U.S.A. You also forgot Mantis. The Chang Coaster at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a Mirror image of mantis with an extra corkscrew and twist added at the end.

SFMM is pretty close to where I live, so I'm glad to see it on top. How many inversions do they say X has?

Thorpe Park is cheating by building 10 inversions at once [:p]

The site is down for a long time now [xx(] I hope it will get back up because it's a really good and valuable site [^]

Glad to see that someone noticed the Raptor was not a clone. In fact, it was actually a race to see which one was going to work on the design table/money front first!

They are wrong about Hershey....

Great Bear= 4
Sidewinder= 3
SuperDooperLooper= 1
and the new coaster will have 3

So Hershey should be in 12th with 11

Well at least most of SFMM's clones were also the templates for the cloning, so they got to be unique for a while. It would be much worse if they just kept getting nothing but copies of rides from other parks, the way that most of the other Six Flags parks do.

But how are they counting inversions? By structure, or by train movement? If you count a boomerang by structure, it only has 3, but if you count it by train movement, it has 6, so they should specify.

This would be especially true when counting inversions for X too. It could be counted both ways at the same time, so if you combined how many times the track flips and how many times the seats rotate, it could get way up there for your final total! So for X, I would say the total is the actual number of times the riders themselves invert.
