I don't quite understand why everyone decided to go with the megalooper. Sure, we were allowed to use whatever style we wanted, but I just feel like the real hypercoaster fits so much better, or a megalooper would have been done already. Whatever. Difference of opinion, I suppose, and I shall reserve further judgement until the results are in. Definitely looking forward to seeing everyone's rides, though!

Mine is mostly a classic hyper coaster just with some special elements, it actually only contains 2 inversions and one of them is fairly obvious with the drachen fire reference
What are these for?

Finished my design, now i just need to sign up. contains cutbacks, i dont know if that will draw any criticism. Also contains one of the prominent new inversions I used in Toxin, but I lowered it so it will be more smooth. The station cuts partially into the lower section of the parkway ( where the vertex starts on the template), is that ok?

Are you talking about the vertical section, or the horizontal section? If you mean the vertical one, the pathway that goes under Perimeter Parkway and leads into Soak City, then yes, you can have the station cut partially into that. But if you mean the horizontal part that runs from Gemini over to the right side of the template, which is labeled "Perimeter Parkway," then no, you can not build it over that line, even a little bit. (from rules: "Completely contained.")

i have an interesting question that doesn't apply to my coaster, but the contest brought it up: no transport tires. But Viper uses friction-wheels for the station, and its made one year after 1989, does this mean our coasters can be improved with station transport devices? This doesnt apply to the actual brake segments, just the station.

How many people need more time? Seeing as how we've only got three entries at the moment, I'm considering extending the deadline by a couple of days.

Any takers?

I honestly rushed through the last of the supports to get it done so if you're going to extend the time could you rethink the no resubmission rule?

More time sounds great, my supports are still mostly a hash of pre-fabs.

I've got the layout done, but havent been able to touch the supports all week.

Okay, we've got 5 entries now, which is more than enough to have a legitimate contest judgment, so I'm not going to be extending the deadline. I hope we'll see a lot of tracks be submitted within the next 29 hours.

AWWWWWWWWW YEEEEEAAAHHHHHHH. Although, honestly I've enjoyed all of the entries so far. Not very Arrow-like, some of them, but all quite fun to ride.
