B&M Mega for Port Aventura

No stats other than the 78m height have been released, but that's enough to estimate that this might be the second largest or largest B&M installation to date, behind Leviathan of course. Looks good in my opinion, especially the turnaround, although that is unofficial artwork.

If that's the turnaround, that's totally and completely badass. I love it!

The turnaround is a fan-made interpretation of the top-view that was leaked.

While it indeed looks very cool, I think they'll be getting a helix similar to SFOG's Goliath. B&M would never to anything as cool as than.

Unfortunately I don't think a turnaround like that would be circular from a top view.

I believe hyyper is correct and that the helix will basically be the same as the one found on SFOG's Goliath, it matches perfectly with the overhead layout. It's not a bad helix to have. This ride supposedly will have a splashdown also.

On a side note, Apollo's Chariot has a helix quite similar to the artwork shown...just not as extreme in altitude transition.

I can't believe its gonna be going straight over the top of Dragon Khan like that, it will make DK look tiny lol. Pretty sweet though, its nice to have something like that this close to home, but i think its gonna be a while before i get to go back there.

Yeah as shown in the picture very clearly Mr. Derp.

It looks cool, looks like it might have a drop like Nitro's second drop.

I actually think the first hill might be opposite of Nitro...but with more of a slight turn on the way up.

You can tell where the highpoints of the track are by looking at the supports. You can see that the peak of the first hill is quite a way after that "turn" and that it is still rising after the turn. It looks to basically just rotate to the left as it goes up the hill.

WOW. That color scheme is unreal, and the rest speaks for itself.

Awesome...love the colors too. That is how you make white and gray work on a coaster.

^If it is, that would be awesome with me. This is really the only other 2012 roller coaster that I predicted might get me as excited as SkyRush and Leviathan (excited considering I won't be riding them any time soon though). Depends on the layout of the thing which I haven't yet seen.

But any B&M creation is a big deal in my book, so it's bound to impress me... Does anyone notice/agree with that? B&M rarely miss; among few whose company names would really stir my interest to a huge level every time they come out with something new.

That was only concept art drawn by a fan, it wasn't confirmed that that's the actual turnaround.

the layout reminds me heck of a lot of Intimidator. that is all.

Be that as it may, you can tell that the drawing is somewhat accurate by looking at the supports and spotting the elevation changes, as Gouldy already stated.

I hadn't noticed that but when you mention it, the supports are highest in the circular part and are low at the entrance/exit.
