Judging:
Once the contest has reached it's deadline, the contestants will rank each others track, and the tracks will be ranked by average score (that same way it was done on the Party Like It's 1989 Contest).
I don't like this method of rating, it seems lazy to me. The rates won't be good at all.

^The problem is that nobody likes the other way too. It takes a long time to rate and the people that want to be a judge is countable on one hand.

Now I get what you mean, if it makes sense in the spot your placing it then yes.

^No, must be a cable, that is, unless you use a cable launch facing upwards.

How to add a cable lift? I can add it with an env file but does this mean we need to package it? or is there a special environment to download so we don't have to do this?

in other ideas, i'm thinking of good inspiration for mine. Maybe a compact Mega-lite style coaster since it deals with airtime really well, or another space-waster with an overload of overbanked turns, or a tight woodie. Is there a g-force requirement, say stay under red g's, avoid yellow and limit laterals to 0.5?

I don't think that this rule should apply for positive gs, what if we want it to go to 5 gs for a pull up or something.

I don't really think there should be a G-force rule at all. Any unrealistic G's will hurt the ride's score. I bet that would probably regulate itself.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of g-force restrictions either. Back in the days where even the most unrealistic coasters could still get high scores if they were smooth, g-force restrictions were a necessity, as seen in the site's first contests. But around 2005 to 2006, people started actually rating g-forces more realistically, and thus there was no longer any need for a definite restriction. Nowadays, all that g-force restrictions do are result in a lot of unnecessary disqualifications when really it should be an issue of technical.

Beginning track work...one of the helices pulls a constant g-force of 5.5 gs and enters with a lateral force of 1.3 g's, since the coaster is around 350-400 feet tall and hits 102 mph in such a confined space...but the way i interpreted the restrictions the coaster must be between 300-399 feet tall?? or is it the build area that is 300-399 sq ft?

400 sq ft is a square 20' by 20'. Pretty sure they're not restricting you to a tiny square haha.

Why couldn't we use LSMs to propel the train up the lift?

^Gigas use cables, therefore it must be some sort of cable propulsion method.

Okay another question, can the station track be inside the green box, but the actual station be outside of it?

instead of a chainlift, or is it chain lift only..

what is it with electromagnetism? I have designed a launched hyper already but it was critiqued as fantasy... and a launched cable coaster just sounds odd.

Does the actual station have to be at the banked angle like the box, like can the track & station go outside the green box, while still being in it?

Station track must be inside the box, position it however you want. The station building can go outside the box, just aslong asd the whole track for it is inside.

Also- I will not be able to get on as much for the next month, so I will try to answer as many questions as I can at the beginning of December!

If you will not be around for a month maybe this contest should delegated to someone else while you are away?

Waiting a month for an answer to a question could hold people up and is not fair on them.
