Hey all,

I'm a sophomore at Ohio State, and every year we sponsor one of the largest dance marathons in the country, and each year we raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to support pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. Every registered dancer pledges to raise $100 for cancer research, and I'd love your help! You can donate directly to my dancer profile online at http://www.helpmakemiracles.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&eventID=882&participantID=62377. It's safe, easy, and you feel all warm and fuzzy inside [:)]

The goal for the event itself is $275,000, a 30% increase from last year's total of $222,000 (which was itself more than 100% increase from the previous year's total). Please help me out! Every dollar counts.

-Alan

Bah, this is probably one of the only times I'll support something Ohio State does. Dance Marathon is a great thing, my roomate and several friends were part of DMUM last year.

I would help but the term "broke college student" applies big time to design majors who have to buy supplies every week. Sorry :(
What are these for?

Well I know if OSU had a QB as fast as Denard, they would have tried to run the ball at least once on 1st and GOAL. Who calls the plays for UM? Such morons. Here, lets make our QB who cant hit a bright red barn with a ball throw the ball 4 times. Oh noes, we lost.

Go ahead and do it against OSU later this year. Cant wait to ROFL. But if they run him all game - might be a different game.

If he doesn't get into the endzone and is tackled within bounds the game is likely over right there on that play since they had no time outs. Also, there was blatant pass interference on the last play that didn't get called. The pass to Hemingway on 2nd down could have easily been called a touchdown as well.

But this thread isn't about football, this is about raising money for pediatric cancer research.

Glad this thread stayed on topic for so long...it's not like it's important to the world's well-being or anything...[lol]

Its a good cause. I don't think you'll find a ton of help here. Oscar had enough trouble getting support for the site itself.

And Raptor - doesn't matter. Hes one of the worst passers in the game against any real defense. Id take my chances on his feet every time. Kid is lightning fast and elusive. Not sure anyone can catch him on the edge.

You don't have to remind me about his passing abilities, haha. I long for the days when we have a gunslinger back there again like Tom Brady and Chad Henne. I wasn't able to watch the game, I was out sampling local fish populations for a class, but why we didn't run it was the first thing I asked my friend when I saw we went 0-4 from 3 yards out. I assume they were just too afraid to run out of time. They should have at least called a rollout to give him the option to run/pass/throw it away though.

Well you got at least 1 person from this site to help! Have fun for a good cause!

I now challenge you to double your goal!
If you are going to make a scene, be seen.
