The People's Golden Ticket Awards

After Reading about people being thoroughly disappointed with the Golden Ticket Awards for a few years now I decided to figure out what others think of the best steel and wood coasters in the world.

Here is how this works...
List your top 25 coasters (If you cant name that many just list what you can)
Then I will add up the totals based on where everyone ranked them
Example...
1. Top Thrill Dragster (25 pts)
2. Diamondback (24 pts)

And why does everyone rank Viper so high? It doesn't do anything..... The American Eagle is in the same damn park, and it's obviously WAY better.

I would be all for doing this if Mitch's poll didn't already exist because it's pretty much the perfect poll.

As you can see, my steel coaster line-up is awesome, but my wood coaster line-up is horrific (I have been on more but they don't deserve to be rated highly, but neither do my bottom 5). This is exactly why the golden ticket awards are so stupid and do not include European coasters because more Americans vote than European (or Asia or anywhere else). I really think that this should be going by the coasters win percentage like Mitch Hawker does, as to be able to include these European and Asian coasters without having to have too many European or Asian enthusiasts. The only problem is that if one person votes, than that coaster wins. So, 2 people should have gone on that coaster, one of them being on at least 25 of that coaster type (steel/wood)

It was a fat joke.

Also it did get pretty bad before they put the steel track under it and it had trims running down like 1/3 the drop, but you were probably still trying to put the cube through the triangle hole at around that time. A heavy train at 65mph with a bunch of Illinois fatties in it gouges the track out pretty bad.

I think the only stuff I've ridden since then are Zippin Pippin, Spongebob, Avatar, and Pepsi Ripsaw or whatever they call it now. Pippin would be right between Kennywood Thunderbolt and Avalanche, and Spongebob/Avatar in the 20s for steel. Ripsaw in the 30s.
