Entirely man made, I believe. The same as with the island Saw sits on. Even if the site were especially condensed, surely storing the track actually in the water would be a no no
There's no way it could have been dropped by a crane, or HSE would be on site and have the project shut down temporarily. I don't think it could have been stored near the edge of the water and then fallen in, because of it's position in the water - facing in length ways, as it was.
So... why? We'll probably just never know and it will be one of those little things that doesn't matter at all and yet will bug me forever.
