You can go ahead and put me in last for the moment. I realized it would be a whole lot easier if I had supports done. [sillyme][xx(]

Well, i have a HUGE amount of requests for 3D work, which is now becoming overwhelming. I'm now going to have a personal attitude to the work i accept, where if you have a job that i like the idea of and feel motivated towards it then i will probably jump you to first place.
I'm starting to get back into the ride-making now and so not a lot of 3D work is getting done.

3D work i have done doesn't seem to go anywhere though! That's until AJClarkes upload of Schizophrenia today. My biggest 3D project to date which clocked in at 45 hours of my time. Good luck in the exchange AJ, and to the rest of you that i've done work for: please upload!

I've got a secret project on at the moment which due to severe motivation lack on my part it seems to be grounding. I've got a couple others which i am motivated about, but right not i'm very driven about my up coming NL ride: Harbinger B&M Twister. Which i'm considering making a development thread about. Which of course will have some serious 3D work.

Are you still taking requests for projects? I have a small one I would like done and I suck at making 3D objects.

my coasters aren't great (youtube.com/ragebull910) But custom stations would be a nice touch....I've seen some amazing stations and switch tracks before.

I don't think this is fair, the only one you have helped with this service is AJ, that I know of.

Put some money up then say it's not fair lol. He did a big project and got burned out...it happens. I think what's not fair is all the people who put little effort in their rides then ask others to put a lot of work into dressing them up. That's what you get when you ask anyone if they want help, though.

And also this time of year is very busy for many of us, perhaps he simply has so little free time that he'd rather spend it on something he enjoys instead of doing something for other people.
What are these for?

I know dcs already addressed this, but allow me to do it again, in a tired-and-possibly-slightly-intoxicated way:

Are you kidding me???? He offered a free service because he thought he'd enjoy it more than designting his own coasters. You really need some perspective on life if you think this isn't fair. You should be thanking him that he helped anyone at all.

*Disclaimer: yes, he made a beautiful bridge for one of my rides. No, that shouldn't and doesn't matter. Why? Because love michigan.

Ok, if the ride isn't good then I guess that would be an exception *cough*highthrills2*cough*. And ckidd you dumbshit he is still doing stuff fore other people, more specifically a person lol. Which is why its unfair, he keeps working with aj.

So I'm guessing you think calling a particular person out for what you perceive as lack of skills is gonna help your cause? OK, you don't think it's fair. Such is life. Get over it lol.

It's not only AJ, here is a short list:

-I made trenches for jackizle, then terraformed and placed them for him; he never uploaded.
-I made a bridge for Boneplaya, and placed it; he never uploaded.
-I've helped you, RWN countless times through MSN as well as at least 10 others, and another dozen through email.
-I've textured and exported objects for around 20 people.
-I modeled a ride for Oinz, but never finished.
-I've done odds and ends for LeFlo (yet to be uploaded), which includes testing, textures, track guidance and 3D's. As well as other members.
-plus loads more across 2 websites, which includes a massive "gift" that i'm currently working on which is a secret ;)

I want to remind you that i do all of this off my own back, for nothing (a thanks is nice). I have been offered money, yes, people are that desperate they've offered to pay which i turn down because its not about the money, i just like being nice (it's my Buddhist side).

If i dedicate the time, it has to be for a ride of equal standard to my 3D work, because people don't rate the 3D's, they rate the track and so i want my work to be for a ride which will at least get 8-9's. So if i dont think your ride will, then chances are i wont help. AJ's ride was the first decent one to get thrown at me, since then we've kept in touch through email so i know about stuff he's working on before anyone, and chances are i'm helping.

I think we make a good team too. I tried working with you RWN...it was just a fail having BOTH of us doing separate tracks...we didn't even have a similar idea for what we wanted. The other thing is that I believe I give Archy many thanks and proper credit. Since I feel that we each do half-and-half work (well, most of the time I unfortunately think he does more lol), I try to give equal credit. Hence why a future ride from us will be uploaded under his name (also since he is creator of the idea and rough layout). Mutual agreement FTW.

Even I didn't realize he had this much other work though...calling him a dick would be the last thing I'd do. He's done a hell of a lot for almost nothing. I'm surprised he even keeps in touch with my e-mails every other day. In the end though, it's his choice...I'm quite glad (well, more like exuberantly glorious) that he enjoys working with me as a friend and as a collab partner.

I can understand why you would be a little upset though...in some aspects it is "unfair". But is anything else in life really fair? Those who jump on the opportunity tend to get the leg up, which in my case, certainly helped me.
