Whats the point of talking about this can sum up pretty much all coaster topics these days. You guys come and go every year, someone will be here to replace you next year when you lose interest, but know that what your discussing isn't new. I'm sure this same topic was already discussed in 2004 about a different ride, hence it's getting old. The 15 year olds who constantly berate Six Flags for decisions like cloned rides just annoy the hell out of me. Obviously as a 15 year old who goes on RCDB you know far more than the heads of a multi billion dollar enterprise that cloning a ride is a bad idea or worth talking about in negative light.
As soon as people around here start to get at least somewhat practical, I will stop being a dick. But until then, these topics that spring up every 6 months by someone new who replaced the last person to bring it up will get negativity from me.
Like this:
You could be Great America, where the last good ride we got was in 1999.....
Who is he to decide what the last
good ride the park got is? As one of maybe 2000 enthusiasts who visit the park a year, and don't even spend money (season pass), his opinion of such things is actually nonsense. Enthusiasts hate Superman Ultimate Flight, but they are nobody, and the 3 hour line it had by the general public when I went said otherwise. The 3 million people who visit the park maybe twice a year and actually spend money outweigh the few who visit the park every day but don't spend money and think they're 'in the know'. I would say Six Flags would call that a good ride based on it's popularity and success at three parks.
But no, they just cloned it to piss you guys off and cause they're stupid, right?
