My only concern with the global warming terminology is who's to say this isn't a pattern? Haven't we proven that these sorts of events work in cycles?
Again this i like people s why I don'ttalking out of their asses. It's the rate of change. The rate of change currently is stupidly fast compared to anything has happened in the past ever. Current ice shelve destruction is unprecedented. I bet you 10 dollars you had to Google search just now what an ice shelf is.

I wont deny changes. But I think the way we label them has a lot of political influence.
No it doesn't have an political influence. Republicans in the USA invented the idea that "scientists don't agree". I have yet to meet a glaciologist that is against climate change. Those glaciologists don't exist, contrary to whatever you'd like to think does exist. The climate change "debate" is by the largest example of retards from the south arbitrarily deciding something doesn't exist based on no knowledge of the subject. Just because some dipshit political correspondent on TV says something doesn't mean it's true. Have you ever met a political science major? They're stupid across the board and yet they end up in charge of things. It's incredible.

I don't like the term "global warming" and I consider that all poppycock.
Congratulations. Contrary to popular belief, what you'd like to happen doesn't always happen. You have no knowledge of the following:
*Glacial dynamics
*Past Glaciations and the "cycles" you're magically an expert and all knowing on
*Current glacial mass balance
*Core Data and Fossil data
*The scientific process
*Climatology
If you don't understand the issue, where it comes from, and WHY something is an issue then you cannot arbitrarily decide something isn't true. You also quite frankly don't know poop Using the term "global warming" straight up shows someone doesn't know a damn thing. Seeing a picture of glacier in a magazine doesn't make you an expert. Shoveling snow doesn't make you an expert. Deal with it.
Like a said before, if you're ignorant of the data then keep your love mouth shut and let people who have a clue what they're doing work with it. Do you think people like coming to these conclusions? Do you think people like watching what they study accelerate and dissolve before their eyes while a bunch of fatties from the south make fun of them in between church and crystal meth hits?
The United States is an international joke because of people like you. It's astounding we're still a world power considering how far down the toilet our educational system is. When Einstein was alive newspapers used to report on his findings. Now putting anything in the newspaper of that caliber is a "liberal attack on the foundation of america".
Again like I said even arguing about this is like going to a quantum physics conference and telling the people at CERN that they're stupid and a waste of time when you don't even have half a clue what they're doing there.
You have no idea the political hurdles people who attempt to study this people have to jump through because some idiots decided to make this difficult. You are aware that polar conferences usually will have a "and if you're from the United States try this to deal with all of the bullshit you need to filter through". It makes people visibly depressed. The only way some professors I know get any work done is through dual citizenship.
You can tell right off the bat someone doesn't know what they're talking about when they say "global warming". It's like going to a paleontology conference and talking about Darwin. You're just going to get laughed at.
If this was all a myth, then it wouldn't have lobbyists working their ass off to lobby against it.
This WAS a topic about gas hydrate discharge and how the size of the things are insanely huge and then people who don't know anything had to butt in and retard it up with their "opinion" on things they don't understand.
If I posted a topic on a recent development in magnetics would you all decide that it's "poppycock" or would it require someone on TV to tell you to do it first?
What's even better is that people who don't even know what they're talking about have "concerns" about things. It's amazing really.
I have "concerns" about some of the problems in a linear algebra course material. I don't understand where the equations come from, how they're derived, or anything useful or pertinent to the subject. However, someone on TV said linear algebra was made up and there was a graph next to his face when he said it. I've seen a couple pictures of a linear algebra equation and done basic addition so I totally have the capacity to form an opinion on the validity of a group of experts and a field in itself. Anyone who even deals with linear algebra is a stupid and wasting their time in a conspiracy to time to the public in an effort to impart socialism.
