Mine is some video game music(Mostly Sonic The Hedgehog). If I had to choose something my least favorite, I would have to say rap.

I like trance the best. I just like the way it has great melodies and hypnotising backgrounds, ahh..

I personally like trance alot. And most of the comercial tunes are pretty good too. I only dislike hardcore and the most of R&B also sucks.

True, it's good, but not when it gets too hard. The commercial tunes are just a little cheesy for me.

Trance has melodies as the main thing unlike other electronic genres. You are not listening the repeating drum beats, they are just for background. Just as the more silent arpeggios and bass too. There's always this saw-lead or some other similar sound that starts in some time.

Trance music is dance music, and it proves to be most popular over here in the uk, and thats why alot go to Ibiza because of it. I like some trance music, not all, I like rock and ozzy osborne stuff, I like techno, electronica.

Yeah, I've noticed how big it is the UK. Too bad in Finland it's not even near mainstream, nobody will listen the music I like.

The Americans seem only to like R&B and Hip Hop. :/

I think a majority of the americans not all, like rock, and all the heavy stuff. My best electronica song so far, is cotton eye joe back in 1995. Ive listened to other electronica songs, but not as good as that one.

I like the kind of stuff Weird Al, They Might Be Giants, and Arrogant Worms make... good stuff. (I hate hip hop and c-rap.)

I enjoy rock music. My favorite band right now has to be Alter Bridge. :) Let the hating commence.

How do people even find these ancient threads. And why do we need to keep digging up old music threads, we have several different ones going at the same time right now.

I'm pretty varied.
There's something I like in every genre (although not rap and most commerical pop and R&B). I like some techno, a lot of atmospheric electronica, alternative rock, classic punk, hard rock (IE Alter Bridge), thrash metal, death metal, and black metal. I also like some crossover thrash and a lot of post rock.

Favorite bands would be Suffocation, Radiohead, Immolation, Cryptopsy, Russian Circles, Shining, Spawn Of Possession, Opeth (although mostly Still Life and earlier), Klaxons (out of place, sure, but I still like a lot of their music), Foals, Obscura, Origin, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Evile, Cathedral, Accept, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Voivod, Vektor and a bunch of others.

My favorite genres are defiantly Indie, Alternative, and Singer-songwriter. I have been listening to a lot of "The Naked and Famous."

that's just part of the video. i had to edit most of it out because my audio started to cut out. the original video is 10 minutes long. it had the Neil Peart triplets on the ride and a double bass section.

Thrash. Megadeth is my fav band. And I am waging a war against dubstep.

Thrash is pretty cool. Been digging the less well known bands in the genre for quite a while. Sadus, Dark Angel, Mortal Sin, Artillery and some others are pretty cool.
