Hi there and welcome to the Coaster Bidding contest. The game is pretty simply, try to compose the park of your dreams, by buying your favorite coasters. But the amusement park market is tough and you've only got 1000C, so spend wisely.


Ok, sounds pretty interesting. How does it work?


As I wrote, everyone receive 1000C, use them to bid in the coaster auctions, of course your bid must be higher than the previous bid. If you want to start an auction, just post how much you are willing to pay and the auction starts.
You will win the auction if your bid stands for three days.


Ok, How do I join?


Just post a post where you clearly say that you've signed up.
I won't set a date when signups close, but don't try to signup 2 month after the contest started just because of that.


Rules and Info.


Editing, don't edit posts. If you forgot to add the coaster name or your bid, just make a new post. If you edit to cheat, you?????????ll get disqualified.

Bidding and Credits, Of course your not allowed to bid with more credits than you've got.

You?????????re not allowed to take back a bid.

Every bid must be in whole numbers and at least 10% higher than the previous bid.

Starting auctions, You?????????re allowed to start TWO auctions every week until the last week begins, then you?????????re free to start as many as you want.

As I wrote before an action ends if a bid stands for three days.

Your park must have at least 3 coasters and can have no more than 20.

Only operating coasters are up for sale.

Most important, have fun.

The game starts 1st january 2012 and ends 31st march 2012

Keys to win. Balance and variation are two word to keep in mind during the contest. Having a park with different types of coasters are better than having a park with five Intamin accelerators. The park should have something for everyone and a good balance of rides with high and low thrill.

I'll give it a go...sorta like Coaster Draft but more of a realistic process rather that a "Fantasy Roller Coaster" type of thing.

Does one auction a week mean after you start an auction you have to wait a week to start another or you can only start one auction on Saturday and start another the on Monday, and if the second option on what day does the week begin?
What will be used as a reference for if a ride is operating?

1) You can start two every week, so yes you can start one on sunday and one on monday.
The new week begins monday 00:00.
2) RCDB will be used as reference.
