I started work on my next coaster. Its an Arrow Dynamics multi looper. I am trying my best to replicate the support structures from a few different tracks. Mainly Vortex and Drachen Fire and a little Dragon Fire from Wonderland. I havent got a name for the track yet.

Ya that's just the the wide angle lens of the camera in the game. Both loops are the same, but the pull out on the first is a little larger to maintain speed for the second loop.

loops are wayyyy too small... arrow maintains a basic size for all their loops you know...

Actually, I'm fairly certain their loops are all exactly the same size (within tolerances, of course). If I'm not mistaken, the only differences among arrow loops are the lead-ins/outs.

I found it really hard to tell if there was a standard size or not. It seemed like the arrows with 6 cars per train had smaller loops then the trains with 7 cars. But I couldn't really find a way to measure it, and it was really close anyways. Either way my loops aren't that far off but they are not perfect by any means. They need to be a bit wider and maybe bigger but not by much. And I can see now with this pic the bottom supports aren't right.

Supports look good! If you're interested, I have some photos of an Arrow at Darien Lake that show support structures. Though, I'm fairly certain they match your supports pretty well.

by riding viper often (and looking at the darien lake arrow), i know that arrow simple supports should be custom rather than prefab since the prefabs have a funny trapezoid thingy. should change those right underneath that loop to custom, one tube is plenty.

also the sea-serpent batwing element thing looks oversupported in the center, or is that the camera angle?

Yah I think its over supported to, but I kinda tried to copy Drachen Fire. Alot of Arrows support structures work but kinda crappy from an engineering/cost effective stand point imo. But were talking multiple years ago. There is many things I could do to make this exactly perfect but it would take me forever, so I'm just doing little things here and there and hopefully its close. It started snowing here so I've been out plowing and haven't had much time to work on this track. Thanks for the comments though, so much better than my Merlin track.

Finally got some snow so I have been working. But I had a change to support the corkscrew. This was crazy hard to model and I skipped out on a bunch of things cuz of that. Looks good enough I think.

That looks awesome actually. Nice geometry on the corks and the supports

Not sure if there is a database of 3ds here on this site. If not their should be. But here is a pretty stock staircase.

Nice, your doing a good job. I suggest adding 10%grey to your black though, because when stuff is 100% black in NL you loose all definition. Look at your train for example, you cant tell the seats from the body, or even the car behind. But otherwise this looks really good, top marks for accuracy on the supports.

Yah your right about the grey. I did it for the track and I should do it for the train too, thanks.

This looks really good! I am definitely, definitely looking forward to this. From what I can see, this is shaping up to be the most well-shaped Arrow coaster on the site...

Well I have no idea how I found the time to finish this but its done! Ya lots of bad transitions and incorrect radius flows and a little more banking and so on... but its done. Good enough to view and I kinda find it fun, wish I could ride it in real life. Hope you guys like.

How is your track so perfectly sculpted? The helixes perfectly constant, the corkscrews perfectly constant...i cant do that with 3 week's worth of handsculpting! I was almost expecting another Smooth-track Arrow but this feels pretty true to them. This is going to be better than any of the entries in the Arrow 1989 contest.

That looks like a really great ride! Are you planning on uploading it? I'd like to be able to take a closer look at how you managed some of your transitions and whatnot.
