The Removal Of BatMan & Robin The Chiller from SFGAdv. Ya know' you could still see it's station and the surrounding area is still themed like it was when the Chiller was there. Also that ride is for sale!

I think Phantom's Revenge looks way cooler than S. Phantom.

I vote for the destruction / re-building of "Mr. Twister" at Elitch Gardens in 1994. It was John Allen's masterpiece, and I really wish that I could have ridden it before it was torn down and rebuilt by Rattler-designer John Pierce into the lame knock-off "Twister II."

I never got to ride the Orient Express. I was too young to ride it for a while (and too scared) and the year I was going to, it was gone and Spinning Dragons was under construction. That disappoints me to this day.

My only experience with it is AyTrane's Orient Express recreation in No Limits.

Another change I've always disapproved of was the Camp Snoopy to Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America.

^Oh yeah, I never even rode it and that makes me sad. That ride looked like one of the better Arrow suspendeds.

But none of that really hits here so it's okay.

What isn't better than Iron Dragon?
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

The removal of Stealth, first Flying Dutchman built if I remember, at what was then Paramount's Great America after just three seasons to be replaced by Boomerang Bay...and recently, the removal of Invertigo.

Corkscrew.

Cradled by two loving arms that I'd die for,
One little kiss and Felina goodbye.

Super pissed that they removed Shockwave from SFGAm... I know they replaced it with Superman and all, but as far as I'm concerned, there is no way that I would have found Superman more fun than Shockwave, especially for how long I waited for Superman...

I loved Superman a lot, but Shockwave is my kinda roller coaster. Only missed it by 6 years... heh.

*Less significant, but I missed Deja Vu there by 3 years. From some I've heard it's badass, from some I've heard it's not really fun. But I still would have liked to ride one of those.

In 1996 Rattler (@SFFT then under WB) lost almost 50ft of it's drop because the trains and folks riding them wouldn't come back in once piece.

I heard stories about how back in the day the nightly maintenance folks would partially tear the trains down each night to tighten the bolts back up. The operators would constantly have guest hand them pieces of the trains because the ride was so violent.

Those stories are probably true. I was at SFFT when I was about 7, and at the top of the lift on the Rattler, a bolt fell out and clunked right on top of my foot. Not knowing what it was, it scared the living poop out of me the whole ride. Later it turned out to have held together parts of the floor on the car [lol]
