A World War II grenade has been found in theme park De Efteling. The grenade was found during construction work for a new attraction in the park. The device has been removed by the Dutch bomb squad, the theme park announced on Friday evening.

Part of the park had to be evacuated and a musical performance in the Efteling Theatre was cancelled as a precaution. The theme park reopens Saturday morning and all performances are going ahead as planned.

Short news story, interesting how much of WWII is still out there waiting to be found.

Pff, happens all the time. It's really no big deal. Everybody just clears the area, bomb is removed and detonated safely, everybody comes back.

The amount of bombs and munitions used that never exploded during the conflicts in Europe means ordnance of all kinds will be found for many years to come. I have heard of instances on our coast where they come and diffuse and it is no real biggie.

I'd be willing to collaborate with you. I'm not fantastic at flying coasters but I do have some interesting ideas now that you mention it.
