Hi, am building a mouse type coaster (small) I want to be able to make it smooth enough, pump free and use custom supports. I chose this project as I would like to get it right in all departments before trying my hand at bigger coasters. This will be my first coaster so I thought I'd try something small to cut my teeth so to speak. Anyway, I have read about tunnel tests an E-stop tests and so far my track passes. My question is this, my sections with brakes are all inclined so after the E-stop they all make it back to the station but can you use powered brakes for this e.g. have a flat section with brake, apply the E-stop and when disabled have the powered brake send it off again? do any real coasters do this or should you always incline the brake sections?
