What would the ctrl+g command do if SM had one?

It smooths the track when you select a piece in NL

I've finished tweaking the track. The first air time hill has been lowered for a smoother transition into the batwing. This reduces the red G's that were experienced going in. I've only tracked one super quick red G spike on the whole track. There's a couple lat spikes, but it's modeled after Arrow coasters. Arrow's have strong lats especially in corkscrews and batwings. Deal with it. Supporting will start today or tomorrow. Except an update with pics tomorrow.

Version B actually won the popular vote, but the G's were a total bitch to tone down. So version A has been chosen as the winner being that I was able to get rid of many of the G spikes.

I started supporting and scenery planning and now I'm stuck in an odd place. Should I use the NL prefab supports for a majority of the coaster? I ask this as Arrow and Vekoma use supports that are mimicked exactly by the prefabs. Don't believe me? Go look at some of their coasters. I hate to use prefabs because it's so lazy, but it's accurate to the type of coaster.

Sorry my input is so late but, after reviewing both tracks I would most definitely go with Version A. Some things I would critique would be the shaping of elements, some of them are a bit weird. Like RoadRunner88 said, you should go back and lessen the banking on turns/curves that are more the 50 degrees. OK, so I work at an theme park that has an Arrow coaster as it main attraction I can tell you that its not really all that smooth. Online POVs, close up photos, or simply riding an Arrow coaster should help you get the feel of how one is. Small and almost un-noticable bumps here and there would make the track more realistic (anyone whos ridden an Arrow coaster knows exactly what Im talking about). Other than that its a really good coaster and I cant wait to see the finished product. . .Keep the good work :) !

I've fixed a lot of things, but one thing nobody seems to understand is that this incorporates more than just Arrow elements. This is INSPIRED by Arrow and Vekoma. NOT REMODELED after either one. It is supposed to incorporate elements commonly found with both companies, but not all of the small nuances that come with Arrows or Vekomas.

I would say just go with prefabs plus a bit of decoration to make it look like you put some work into it. Unfortunately, in my opinion the only decent prefab supports are the "single-pole" and "complex" ones. The other ones have weird connectors that are no good for arrows and have weird bracing angles that make them no good for B&Ms [lol] However, this doesn't mean use *only* prefabs. You're going to need a few "real" supports, I'm sure, if only for issues regarding pathways or other track.

like what boneplaya said the only decent prefab supports NL has are the single pole supports but , its all good because arrow coasters are generally supported with single pole supports. excluding the lift, first drop and some of the more complex inversions, which will probably take some custom support building .
