Looks pretty good! This week is going to be one for the books. We have so many awesome coasters coming out this week! We have Dragon, VekArrow, Saw Inescapable Trap an last but not least Moonsault Scramble. This ride as well ad all the others look great and I can't wait to get to ride this. A lot of competition this week! May the best builder win :)

I don't separate my 3DS into parts like the Queue, Exit, Station, and signs etc. I find it much easier to import the track into sketchup and build everything around it....including other rides. The only 3DS that is not included in the model is the track for Ascension.

You didn't separate your 3ds, and the file size is 50MB?!?! I'm shuddering thinking about what this will do to my frame rates...

EDIT: I'm terribly sorry about that odd triple post; I got errors saying something about an invalid object, so I figured it didn't post. After the third try I just gave up.

^Yea, it's hard to line up all the 3DS objects in the NL editor. It's all much easier to do it in sketchup.

When I run the Simulator in 16x anti-aliasing as usual it does impact my FPS temporarily. I go from 60-70 range to about 40-50 range. But for the sake of recording I had to turn the graphics down to make sure the FPS stays a consistent 30 FPS. I'm running a pretty standard low-profile GPU....Nvidia GT 440.

I noticed this too....the Sim's FPS lags less if you go into Fly view before riding the Coaster so there's time for NL to render the entire object. This results in less lag when the objects come into view while riding. For example, on Dragon Ascension comes into view when you go through the first corkscrew....It didn't lag at that point as much when I looked around in the Fly View.

A CHANCE TO SEE DRAGON EARLY!

Anyone who's not willing to wait until February 28th can go here: https://www.facebook.com/GreenBulletPro ... 4407889786

The link goes to a facebook post about the sketchup model guessing game, if you can guess the amount of edges the model has you'll win! You got to be the closest without going over.
