well sure he could make it into a stationary train model, but if the ride is actually running...

derp derp i made it in OC derp derp but its just for screenshots, the ride itself will ride differently as everyone knows there is no zacspin. I will try and hack the data file though to see if i can add a new train style that enables Y-axis spinning, and that of course would be pure amazing. I will try but the data file is encrypted with an algorithm i don't understand so most likely the coaster style will stay impulse.

here it comes...now people will tell me to stop construction at once.

I can probably find out how the data files are encrypted. It'll probably take me a while, though.

I like it. It's cool to see people recreate rides like this with what no limits offers them.
Friendship is like peeing. Everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling it brings.

You guys honestly thought he had an actual Zacspin car? haha. I think you should finish though, I never really see these here.

Got the files in the "data" folder decrypted. They're binary files. So, if anyone knows C++, shoot me a PM to talk turkey.

Edit: I also decompiled the simulator and editor. If anyone knows anything about programming languages, this should a good project.

It would actually spinning around the X or Z axis depending on your orientation. Normal spinning coasters spin around the Y (vertical) axis.

Actually, in most 3D coordinate systems that I'm familiar with, the Z axis is vertical. The Y axis is normally the one "coming out of the page".

I really don't know. I suppose forward/backward motion would be along the X-axis and thus zacspin stuff would be about the Y axis, but that's just a hypothesis.

hmm OC is kinda throwing off my directional judgement. it is the Z-axis, which is height [sillyme].
Ole's spinning acts on gravity to an equal extent. put the trains at a 90 degree angle and they will hang down - much like the zacspin's lift to the top. I will place a spinning coaster sideways and run it and see if it spins in a similar manner to a zacspin. if it does then programming a zacspin won't be difficult at all.

I just tried it. It works almost the same. You would just need to add in a weight variable to ensure the spinning doesn't keep going all the time.

Edit: the easiest way to do a zacspin would be to just add a new train to one of the spinning styles. It's not completely realistic, but it gets the job done.

screw it, just going to finish the ride and upload it and see what CC thinks of a zacspin that realistically pulls -3.5 gs. how am i going to stop the noob ratings for RED Gs RED Gs? I will rename this thread for a Zacspin recreation and all the screenshots will use the OC trains i built.

i don't know whether i should start building a GL recreation or an Insane recreation. Their station, theming and even the way their MCBRs are painted are different.

Some progress on the liftbox railings and midbrake railings.

Probably. But it would be easier less time consuming to wait for NL2.
