If you actually need to ask if it's okay or acceptable, you probably don't have feelings strong enough to be considered a legitimate relationship...

It would be somewhat awkward if she looks very young, wouldn't worry about the law too much, they are not that far apart, also; it would only get to be a case for the law when something goes wrong.

If you plan on staying together for life it won't be weird. Growing up my dad was nearly 10 years older than my mom.

3 years apart is pretty normal for a married couple I think. It would probably be less "weird" if you/yourfriend/spiderman waited a few years until, say, college.

But a 3-year difference isn't really much. However, it's considered a lot in high-school era because the two ages are very different.
