Illegal downloads.

They are not a threat, as the large companies say. They aren't losing too much money from it, I say.

^Do you realize that it has been almost a month since anyone posted in this? Just a tip, don't dig up random old threads.

I am not supporting piracy and all that but I don't think that downloading them online constitutes to such. It has been related to it because those in the business have linked money toward it. And it should not be piracy until people start earning of other's work.

I mean, if it should be for personal consumption, there should be no problem. But when you start making money out of what should be somebody else's work, that is when piracy kicks in.

^See, the problem with piracy isn't so much as people making money off others' work, it's that the others aren't getting money when people give it away. Granted, most bands don't actually make much money, if any, from CD and merchandise sales from their record companies since the record companies simply sponsor them to profit off their work.
