It looked slow to me at first because I didn't think about the sheer size of the coaster and the track. Also, it is the very first test run, and the lift may be operating a bit faster than that once they get it going for the season. I think it looks perfectly awesome.

It's faster than Raging Bull over the hills. I know that's like winning the special olympics and not much of an accomplishment but I'm just saying.

I don't like the shaping / banking of that hammerhead :/ Obviously its to keep the G's in check but it doesn't look so natural. Mind you swarm is similar just blended into the incline loop better.

It probably rides good... But to me it looks sooo drawn out. Shambala looks a lot more exciting imo.

Based on the movement of the water dummies in the corner of the video, it seems like this will be the typical B&M, yet the air will be a bit prolonged. Looks cool, and it's probably going to run a lot faster when it's warmer and the wheels are broken in.

I like the speed after the first drop and the hill/turn right after, but other than that it looks too drawn out, and i'm not a fan the lift truss, it works for intamin because of the complex geometry of the trak shape, but B&M trak is tpp simple for it and it hide the beauy of the shape pf the drop imo
What are these for?

For what was probably a very cold run that looks like a really good ride. Wish it had 1 more straight hill in it though. I don't think anyone can really judge this until it's open in a somewhat tolerable temperature.

It's a B&M so it is going to be drawn out, it's the degree of drawn-outness that's important.

EDIT: Nevermind I wunderground'ed the areas temperatures and it was fine lol so yeah it's teal Millennium Force

Have you guys not seen this video? It absolutely hauls ass through the layout! That POV was the very first test run...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVNPlI4P5rs

Looks VERY promising. I can't believe how quickly it clears the 2 big air hills...sustained ejector actually?!? The 2nd one reminds me of the famous hill from S:RoS at SFNE.

Can't wait to ride in July!!!

^Was just about to post that video, haha. As much as any Wonderland fanboy will say that this and Behemoth are supposed to be completely different ride experiences, I'm betting that the only time I'll be riding Behemoth is when the line is completely dead because they're all lined up for Leviathan. Only a month and a bit, bllaaaah impatient...

it looks a lot better in that video, and you get a sense of the height.

For a second i began questioning whether that was sped up or not. Those hills look intamin quality airtime-wise. I agree about that second to last hill being reminiscent of bizarro.

The testing p.o.v., WOW, that ride just looks so awesome. The little airtime hill is going to be kickass with the swinging banking at the pull up.

I definitely don't think any of those hills will have sustained ejector though... the floater air is probably going to be exceptionally powerful however.

lol exceptionally powerful floater air. Great oxymoron you got going on there. It's like saying the force will many times zero. It just doesn't make sense!

^Always contradicting the most meaningless loopholes, hahaha.

I suppose I intended to say that 'the floater airtime will be of exceptional quality, in duration, not power.' My mistake, just a technicality.

I mean Goliath @ SFOG has ejector air, and this thing is clearing it's hills much faster than Goliath does. Yeah, the radius is a lot bigger on Leviathan, but still relatively it looks to be stronger than Goliath.

I can't wait! I hope it delivers like it looks...

No matter how the general layout runs, no matter WHAT, the first drop in the back row is going to make all of it worth it.

Wow, looks to be absolutely tearing through the layout now. How does it compare to the new Intamin gigas, though? I get the feeling that I305 will remain far better than this.

Skyrush/I305 > Leviathan

Sorry, but Leviathan just doesn't compare to the newer Intamins. It's just a bigger, taller Mega that happens to be over 300 feet tall. It will be a fun ride for sure, but it's not unique like SkyRush and I305.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

All I can say is that I hope it delivers. Though another element would have been nice, I did see this layout for its strengths from the beginning...even the brevity of it will preserve a sense of speed. I imagine for my own taste, it'll blow Millenium Force out of the water (then again I prefer Magnum, Goliath (SFMM), Titan, Diamondback and Nitro all over Millennium).

Obviously I can't speak to the quality of Skyrush, its trains look like they could potentially enable it to deliver a better experience than I305, and both of these new Intamins are atop my must-ride list...right behind Leviathan =P

^I think SkyRush will be better than this too, and better than I305 at that.

I agree with that statement. Most of I305 is an incredible experience, but issues like the forces in the first turn, the pain from restraints for anyone over say 6', and the hard brakes and less exciting ending take away from it where Skyrush won't have any of those problems. The only thing I think could be improved in Skyrush's design is the relatively weak last element, but that's not nearly as big a deal. The drop will be great for the height (probably better than I305's given the lack of shoulder restraints), the pacing will be great, the forces shouldn't be overly sustained, the scenery will be better, the lapbars, seating, and trains look almost ideal, there are no trims, and there will be plenty of strong airtime. I'd definitely sacrifice a bit of power, height, top speed, and rotation for all those benefits.

Leviathan looks excellent to me too. Certainly not as exciting as Skyrush or I305 in many ways, but definitely a great ride. The sustained speed will be really exciting in the front row with B&M's open trains, and the first drop will be one of the best in the world with the height, slope and tight radius at the top. The slight lack of length doesn't really bother me on that one. It's about a combination of speed and airtime, not length like say Behemoth or other B&M hypers.

Even given that fast pacing in the newer videos, I don't think any of the airtime will be as strong as that of Bizarro SFNE, but I do think it will be of excellent quality throughout.
