Yes, that is exactly my point. After seeing all of the improvements made to NL1, I realize that the community will no longer care for it. I was just skeptical (at first) of how much better it would be, and if you'd be paying another $30 for no real improvements. That was my main concern when the talks first came out about NL2. Now that I've seen more about, I understand that it will probably be MUCH better than the first, and it will be well worth the price[:)]

Is 2.0 actually going to cost $30? I thought it was going to be much more.

I'm excited about these email updates, me. It looks gorgeous so far.
my computer is already crapping itself at the prospect of running it.

Am I the only one who thinks that the transfer segments moves too fast? ;S

Anyways, an endless list of new features sounds very great, because I've been doubting if the wait time will be worth it. I guess the price will be about 55$, though I wouldn't mind paying more.

It depends on the ride, some of them move slower some are faster.

if tradition is to be continued, we can expect some sort of prank in 6 days that will showcase some aspect of NL2 we haven't seen.... hopefully.

While a joke, it showed the awesome track wear options, some trains, grasses, and more.

Is the 1.802 update the one that introduced the wild mouse? Or is 1.802 an update past that?

1.802 is a patch that fixed the bug where the Vekoma mine train had no connectors holding the ties to the rails or the spine, maybe some others here and there too. 1.8 was where the Zamperla spinning coaster was introduced.

April fools update shows off some more of the dynamic shawdows. Kind of cool. I think next april fools they should announce the cancelation of NL2. It would be freakin hilarious when they release it a week later.

This is exactly the same maintenance car that silver dollar city uses on wildfire. Makes me wonder if they actually decided to implement it or if it's an April fools joke.

^Those are awesome, I've always wondered what that was on Wildfire! Do they run those cars at full speed or is there some sort of motor? I feel like free-running in a car of such small size would be dangerous.

It is motorized so that it can travel the track, with full control by the driver inside the orb. There are additional pitch and roll controls so that the orb can get adjusted to the slope and roll of the track.

^That is stated about the WOTIV that they created for NoLimits. Ole didn't talk about the real-life examples. But I'm pretty sure the real ones have a motorized system too... there's no way those would carry passengers safely during an uncontrolled run with one seat belt like that hahahaha.

Bubble wrap is fun. Anyway, nice to see the NL team (mainly ol) bringing real world elements into NL , again. Can't wait for the next update, but, considering the amount of work that has already been implemented, it will be WELL worth the wait, even if I have to shell out another 30+ bucks for the new version.

I can't even imagine the pain you would feel if they rode at full speed.

^^Actual hints in the update?? I didn't notice any kind of hint in the update. Is it not straight-forward? I's too high for this right nah.
But I re-checked the update closely anyway, and still nothing.
