So guys, one week left. How's everybody doing so far?

I had the beginnings of a layout started but with moving house and also my son Neo having more heart surgery I doubt I will have a finished ride. Maybe next year [:)]

I am looking forward to seeing what designs all you guys have made though and good luck to all of you.

On a side note Hyyyper, I think all submitted rides should automatically be placed onto the exchange for people to see under there makers names?!?

^I'm not sure if all the members would agree on that. If their ride is total crap I won't force them to upload. After the scores are posted, players are free to upload their ride.

But like I said before, if we get rid of the total secrecy rule, then submissions would once again need to be uploaded to the exchange.

Which is how it should be, it's how this tournament was run for years. Plus the exchange could REALLY use the activity.

I think the main issue was people trying to avoid the "version 2" of a track submitted to judges a week or so after it was uploaded to the exchange and had time to collect criticisms and things to improve on while in the exchange.

^That was never the problem. The first submission was the final submission. It started a few years ago, when some people accused the judges for being biased. The result: everybody had to keep silent about their tracks to prevent the judges from linking a certain track to a certain player.

It's about time this got revoked and make the tournament fun and engaging again.

I got a problem using track packager. Gives me a "runtime error 9 script out of range". Is this because of my 3ds? Can I rar the coaster instead or how should I deal with this?

2 things before I submit:

a) I'm in the clear if my supports are visually outside borders in the simulator but within them in the editor, no?

b) I changed the size of the supports comprising the station box to be the smallest (thin) as the large supports were colliding with many low elements of the coaster. Should I change back?

^Rules will be tested in the editor when possible, which means that everything except the speed and tunneltest are checked in the editor

The supports of the template can be any size you like. If they still interfere with your track, you may move the template vertically.

I had this error a while back. It's because you probably have too many 3ds.

If our coaster is 2 km/h outside of the range, will it be disqualified, or just have points deducted?

Five more supports, some details and syncing up the trains to finish.

^^ Just increase or decrease the lift speed enough to get it into the target zone.
