CK you do realize that you don't have to delete 3Ds - just boot up the Sim and change one of the options in the "graphics" pane to "scenery > off". Then ride. Re-include scenery when you're done or when you want to view someone's "wasted time" (lol) in the Sim at a framerate of someone holding up flashcards with pictures of their roller coaster in pretty 3D-object savvy glory.

I'd prefer to keep trees and stuff that are actually supposed to be there. Also if I can kill off a bunch of dumb buildings while keeping a feature on the supports it's better than nuking the whole thing.

It's a 500 dollar business laptop with an integrated graphics card from 2 years ago. I qualify for food stamps with my current income, so I can't do any better than that currently after you factor in rent, food, both types of insurance, and various emergency situations.
I can run graphically intense tracks, I just don't want to drop the FPS below 30 for G calculation reasons. Also the point of the game is to make a neat track, not make neat stuff around a poop track
