Same here. I'll probably just say **** it and throw in some auto supports. I just threw my layout together, like...today. I mean, I had a hand-built one lying around. I just had to newtonize it. Deadline is the 31st yeah?

Edit: poop. Well...this should be fun...

Submitted, I'm fairly happy with how my ride turned out.

Also, will we get some sort of confirmation via email once our track has been received since there is no list of names on the first post to confirm as such?

Sent another email with my name. Hopefully things are cleared up now and you like my coaster. I had hell thinking of a name.

So how long will the rating take you guys? And do we find out whether we're DQ'd before that?
Not trying to be pushy, just curious. :)

Submitted! I haven't uploaded (or completed, for that matter) a track since 2003, so I have no clue how my entry will be received. I'm looking forward to seeing the results and what others have come up with.

We'll have scores for you within a week, so you guys at least know who's moving on, and written ratings shortly after that.

That's a completely legitimate question after how long it took SOME people **angry glare** to get done last year

I personally can promise 1 track a day minimum. Weekends will greatly increase that rate. Another great way to increase rating speed is to remove the amount of stupid crap I have to filter out and delete because my computer doesn't handle a ton of 3ds well.

Basically give me a good weekend (ish) and it'll get done assuming nobody is pestering me.

CK you do realize that you don't have to delete 3Ds - just boot up the Sim and change one of the options in the "graphics" pane to "scenery > off". Then ride. Re-include scenery when you're done or when you want to view someone's "wasted time" (lol) in the Sim at a framerate of someone holding up flashcards with pictures of their roller coaster in pretty 3D-object savvy glory.

I'm aware

I'd prefer to keep trees and stuff that are actually supposed to be there. Also if I can kill off a bunch of dumb buildings while keeping a feature on the supports it's better than nuking the whole thing.

It's a 500 dollar business laptop with an integrated graphics card from 2 years ago. I qualify for food stamps with my current income, so I can't do any better than that currently after you factor in rent, food, both types of insurance, and various emergency situations.

I can run graphically intense tracks, I just don't want to drop the FPS below 30 for G calculation reasons. Also the point of the game is to make a neat track, not make neat stuff around a poop track

Sure, hell, I don't even care if you include 3ds that aren't public domain, as long as you give credit where credit is due when uploading to the exchange.

So I'm about halfway through an all-day supporting marathon. I'm starting to give up and just stick a bunch of prefabs in...

Edit: Done! Or, as done as I'm going to get. 2/3 of my track is prefab :( The track itself is, in my opinions, really awesome, though.
