i say do ioa n us, because disney world is more for kids then any thing else,
also stay away from legoland or sea orld, as they both are rip offs.
and for spending money, bring alot since food here cost more then it would else where,
you could do 2 days at disney and one day at univers n ioa, but if you are looking for rides with theme, look at ioa n u.s.f

After all the research I did, it is cheaper to do IoA and USO. Also, if we drive down, I'm more than likely adding on a Busch Gardens Tampa ticket. Seeing as how it's 70 miles away, it'll only be 1 day at BG.

The only reason I would consider tacking on BG, is Cheetah Hunt. Plain and simple. I have a hard on for Intamin coasters.

you just reminded me of full metal jacket, "god has a hard on for marines" but on topic I think kumba looks to be a much better experience than cheetah hunt
What are these for?

Dude, Cheetah Hunt is awesome! Make sure to ONLY get front row NO MATTER WHAT! So much more airtime!

You'll want to ride SheiKra over and over again. Make sure to get both a ride in front and last row on the edge seats. Also, when in the last row, do not hold the restraints at all. Trust me.

Kumba, take last row. It. kicks. ass.

Montu, go for front or last row. Either one will give you such awesome whiplash during the batwing!

Gwazi, skip. You'll regret riding it.

Sand Serpent, sure why not. WIld Mouses are fun coasters!

Why will I regret Gwazi? I actually really like woodies.

Gwazi isn't too rough anymore, but it's forgettable. Even with the Flyers it's still really meh.

Everything else: what rcking said. I really like SheiKra in the back row... lots of airtime on that first drop. I'd also recommend the right edge seat since that part rotates downward in the Immelmann, giving additional airtime.

Cheetah Hunt is very fun but quite weak to your average coaster enthusiast. Just something to keep in mind in order to not be "disappointed". A great ride though.

I been to Busch Gardens Africa once, and it was actually a very nice park. Well themed with some good rides. I liked Kumba and Montu, but didn't like Shreikra because I'm not a fan of dive coasters. Cheetah Hunt was meh for me.
A man has needs and that needs is booze.

Well, I managed to trim the fat as much as possible, and it sounds like a possibility. If I can raise $900 by April 30th, We'll be staying August 5th to the 9th. 3 Days at USO/IoA/WnW with 1 day at BGA. That being said, any good ideas for raising $900 in 20 days?

Well, you could always whore yourself out. That seems to work for a girl I know around here.

See, I don't get this. I thought the ride (well, Tiger) was PERFECT with those old trains... at least, it was one of my favorite woodies by far. I just rode it last spring with the flyers and I was like mehmehmehmehwat. It's not very great anymore. AND if anything I felt more rattled and roughed than before.

Yeah I can't say I care for it much at all anymore. Too bad.

Gwazi was fun, and I rode it with PTCs. I guess it's just a matter of taste.

The sides have no relevance in the situation. Lion has nothing on Tiger. Nothing. They're two completely different rides with surprisingly different quality levels, in the layout that is.

But yeah, hyyyper, it's different these days. She doesn't ride like she used to... It was fun and very satisfying in 2006 when I first rode it, but times are a-changin'.

Technically? Yes. They achieved their goal to prolong the life of the ride and reinforce comfort for riders. But no, it didn't improve the ride experience in my opinion.

Hell yeah it does. Front row is better though. The cobra roll is relentless.

Wow, I thought Gwazi was a lot of fun. Granted, I don't have many woodies to base it on, especially modern ones, but I enjoyed my rides, both on the old trains and the new ones. I guess it definitely is a matter of taste.

Not saying it's not fun. With most roller coasters, you can't ride them and not have some fun (relative to walking...), but in comparison to my memories of the first times I rode Gwazi, it just wasn't spectacular last year.

So, um. My wife decided she wants to go. [:D] So, I'm rallying the troops. We'll be visiting staying from July 15th to the 18th. IoA will be on the 16th because that's our anniversary and she's a Harry Potter fan boy, USO on the 17th, IoA again on the 18th. and I haven't quite figured out what to do for the first day. As it gets closer, I'll have a better idea of what time we'll arrive in Orlando, so I'm wondering if I should just make it a 4-day base ticket.

Edit: In some effort to save money, I dropped Busch Gardens because it's like $85/ticket. (Yeah, I'm cheap).
