Is that photoshopped darkness going into the tunnel - or are you planning on creating 3ds style shadows?

It isn't photosopped. It actually is shaded. [:D]

Wow, the shadows are quite impressive, I was under the impression they were photoshopped in as well. Really marvelous looking.
