I downloaded the NL Construction Kit and now when I open up any coaster, I always get this error message:

Does anyone know how to fix it because I really want to use 3ds in a coaster.

Try switching the track style to an early one. Like a Schwarzkopf looper, Intamin hyper, etc. New styles weren't out yet when the Construction Kit was created.

I tried that, it didn't work. I tried opening another coaster that was originally an earlier track style and I had the same problem.

Make sure the model you have selected for the "primary crosstie" is a valid file path to that model. That means go into your file browser and find that file.

I found it and tried to help it. I re-downloaded it from like % differrent places so I don't think missing files are the problem.

All the more reason to suspect a missing or corrupted file. Go look in your file browser to make sure that your primary crosstie model exists.

sigh... did you put the crossties in a separate folder from NCK, a folder in NCK, or the crossties directly next to NCK? If I recall right the crossties can't be in any separate folders. they also have to be ocobject files.

The files directly next to NCK, and they are all ocobject files.
