Do print screen and then go to a picture editing program and just paste.

Try print screening it and pasting it into paint. Should work.

I just use the snipping tool. You can find it by going from the start menu to all programs, then it should be under the accessories folder.

Press the button with the Windows logo on your keyboard, then print-screen and paste into Paint as usual.

I've always had this problem too. My solution is Wisdom-soft ScreenHunter 5.1 Free. Just google it. It's what I use now.

Do what RoadRunner suggested. Snipping Tool is made for taking screenshots of your screen. Press Start and search "snip" and you'll find it. Be sure to use the drop down menu on the New button for different options, like rectangular-drag snipping or full-screen snips. Captures the screen, let's you save as image.

Much better IMO than "Print Screen/paste in Paint" or the random 3rd party junk. Drag selection, save as image.
