Do what RoadRunner suggested. Snipping Tool is made for taking screenshots of your screen. Press Start and search "snip" and you'll find it. Be sure to use the drop down menu on the New button for different options, like rectangular-drag snipping or full-screen snips. Captures the screen, let's you save as image.
Much better IMO than "Print Screen/paste in Paint" or the random 3rd party junk. Drag selection, save as image.
