3D Roller Coaster Designer was out couple of years before SM and NL ever came out but wait till you see this new coater simulation by the same company. It's called RollerCoasterRampage and its due out june 19th of 2012 it looks like it might be very well a must have. If your tired of waiting for Screammachines2 or even RCT4 to come out then maybe look into this new coaster game for now. Go here at: http://www.coaster101.com/2012/06/01/ne ... r-rampage/
Haha, that game actually looks pretty funny. Of course it's no roller coaster simulator, but the idea to 'fly' the train to create a track looks interesting to say the least.
So, when they were making this game, you would hope that someone on their team would have stepped up and mentioned that they used the wrong spelling of the word "brake," but apparently we have gotten nowhere in this world.
Even on Steam site it tells you everything about it at:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/209610/ I forgot to mention the best way to put it is that they made Hyper Rails from what I've read but I could be wrong though. Who knows I'm planning on buying this myself real soon when it comes out. I can always wait for SM2 to come much later when this will be comming out very shortly. Sounds like it just might be a blast by the way it looks but I shall see[:o)]
The focus of RCR is on gameplay, and that is exactly what it delivers. Coasters are built in an innovative way that even a child can do, appealing to all ages. The challenges are extremely fun and addictive. Far from dumb. Apps that are strictly coaster design have a small demographic on console. Also, there is a new video with the spelling corrected [:O]
I actually beta-tested this game. By no means is it a realistic simulator, and there is much to be improved. It is, however, addicting and oddly funny to watch the trains crash. I haven't played the latest version (I believe it's released now), but I remember the controls were a bit dicey.
