So, I saw how my ride stacked up to AJ's in terms of adrenaline...

Back to the drawing board [flush]

Little space = Tighter elements = More intense forces. YAY!

Yay twisted messes of track.

The ride that I showed back in the previous page is almost done, but making the rest of the second half is becoming a real pain now. Let the pics speak for themselves.

^Whats the track length on that? It must be at least 3200 feet long, and still fit in the template.

(Posted by RideOnKI on Energizer) : I think this track is the winner even though it isn't long enough, but I wont mark down points for that.

Ride, please, please, please, if you make a rule that the coaster has to be a certain length, for the sake of your own reputation if nothing else, follow your own goddamn rules! I'm considering sending in my track about 300-400ft short now.

Also, how can you declare a winner if you haven't even seen the rest of the entries? And why is it the winner? You didn't give any explanation as to why, which you shouldn't until the deadline has passed.

I am not a happy camper right now, to say the least.

You say this after you pass AJ's for not being that long?

This contest seems really unorganized and unfair now, I'm glad I didn't start anything to enter.

I'm dropping out. Not worth the time to try and squeeze 700ft more track into that size template then attempt to support it if the contest isn't being run properly. :/

I'm dropping out. I'll still try to finish a kickass coaster in that tiny little space, but I'm not entering it in the contest.

Somewhere around 2400 to 2700 feet. It's not finished yet, but close.

Hes not the winner yet, if he has the only entry, then he will be the winner. I didn't say he was the winner, dam.

Yes, but at the same time, you already called him the winner. Plus, you didn't take off any points for breaking a rule, which is a rather high offense.

@RideOnKI - Their point still valid. It doesn't seem fair that you would still accept a ride that doesn't fulfill your requirements, while you ask if my coaster does (because otherwise my entry would be invalid and me disqualified).

Well, I'm having difficulties uploading screenshots right now, so the best I can provide is a link. My layout is coming along better than I expected so far. I've already ditched the whole thing twice, and I'm hovering right around 1,200-1,300 feet of track. Top speed is 48 miles per hour, and it has three inversions thus far. On to the spaghetti bowl! http://www.mineimg.com/images/2012/07/20/o9g5B.png

This is impossible. I have 1200 feet and 4 inversions. Now I'm stuck and I can't do anything w/o failing the tunnel test.

I finally came up with something somewhat realistic, but its 1000 feet short. Sorry but you need to change the contest rules if you want me to enter. I'm dropping out.

The thing is that you didn't Dq AJ for breaking a rule but you did Dq gforce for breaking a rule. Then you enforced the rule to Amatsu. It may just be me but I think you're biased.

Well, with Ride creating a topic called "Goodbye", assuming that means he is leaving, I guess this contest is kind of dead. It'll still be cool to see everyone's entry, broken rules or not, but if he's gone, or there aren't any members left for that matter, then it's not really a contest anymore.

I propose we alter the length rule so it reads:

3 points will be awarded for any coaster longer than 3199ft
2 points will be awarded for any coaster longer than 2999ft
1 points will be awarded for any coaster longer than 2799ft

This relaxes the rule whilst rewards those who have been working towards a longer coaster.

And then everyone has to rate each others coasters at the end to determine a winner, keeping the deadline the same.
