ALMOST every uploaded track is 5 minutes work, they got no or bad theming or they are too big ( to fit in a park)

There arent also many ppl downloading those tracks.

Anyone agree with me?

( srry if i spelled something wrong)

na, they'll continue to be hosted, we are not going to discriminate against a game, if that was the case, UR/CD/DC would have been long gone but they are staying

I want to butt in here. There are way more crap NL tracks than of RCT 1/2. Everyone starst somewhere, I tried making some rct2 tracks and hence they quality is not good enough for me to post, some post to get feedback on what to improve, though not many state what to improve, many rate and say "this track was crap blah blah blah" instead of giving constructive tips, but anyway with the point that NL has more crap tracks than RCT2 then the first to go on that basis would be NL but I wont remove any game. They'll continue be hosted as I want people to each othe rout building better rides [:D]

I think the rct tracks that are like, extreme and ultra extreme intensity are just rediculous fantasy coasters, or good coasters that need a bit more tweaking. Rct tracks should have high exitement, moderate intensity, and low/ medium nausia. I mean, someone uploaded a track with 125 inversions, no comment. But some people do spend time to make it good and exciting. I see that those tracks sometimes have low ratings because of a lack of scenery, i dont think points should be taken off for that You should judge them like any other coaster, based on its originality, its adrenaline (wich is i guess a mix of excitement and intensity for rct tracks) and the techincal, how many trains can it run do you have trains that stop on blocks in the middle of the ride. Also, you should encorperate how many people actually want to ride it. I am sure most of you have noticed that there are certain rides that just seem to have the most people in line? Well, a coaster in rct should also be judged on how many people want to ride it.

I agree with you, but scenary is one of the most important things in a coaster. It shows you worked harder then just building the ride. It shows that you went above and beyond on your work. Look at Tycoonman's Best!!! I belive above and beyond coasters can be found in there.

i agree with tycoonman. give 110% when you do a coaster! More people will download those kinda coasters and you'll feel apriciated[:)] so dont be a lazy bum! but still, some people arent good with scenery, so screw them[lol][xx(] im just playin. Even if you cant do good scenery just try to make something stand out in your coaster. make it unique in some way. if you dont get good rating, keep trying...[:D]

I am sure that most people, like me, design their coasters in the coaster designer, which doesnt allow for scenery, and unless you have a custom scenario taht has infinit money, then you might not be able to afford to build the coaster and add scenery.

You make a workbench... A workbench is an empty space of land and features all of the rollercoasters. You put in the scenary items you like and build allmost all of your coasters in there. I will upload one later to show what I mean.

An easier way to also call it is a "Blank Park Map" and yes they're very useful.

All you really need to do is do a search on the internet for "rct2 workbench" and you will find one. Now as for the theming I really think that theming is a major part of rct2 and it should be counted on the ratings. There is just so much you can do w/ it and why not take the time to do it, its pretty simple just takes a little creativity. I think that its 50% of the game, maybe more. When I end up working on a park I take my time (which can be more the to long) b/c I will not quite a section till I feel it is themed just to the way I want it.
