I said that so people wouldn't just out a footbridge over the river. I left the terrain flat so that people could edit it...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

Sorry but I'll have to drop out of this, still can't find my game and would have no time to build anyway. Also, please make the next contest WITH people in the park again, I know many custom scenery users just build parks without them but I think they're part of the fun in RCT2. Anyways, looking forward to seeing - well... - at least screenshots of the entries, once they're done. :) have fun all participants!

You do know that guests will be in the parks starting the third round, right?

Ah ok, didn't sound like that to me. Never mind what I said then, good idea! :) unfortunately, I still won't be able to compete though.

The biggest unfortunate part about the guests coming in Part 3 thing (that makes sense, right?) is that it's rather tricky to make a park where guests won't accidentally get stuck. They find ways to do so in many places, and without guests in the park from the beginning, it's hard to test it out.

I myself have actually built a path from the entrance and used 8cars to send trams into the park. This works, but not very efficiently. Normally the guests are tired and angry by the time they reach the actual section of the park and want to leave.

This simply brings up one question: In the third round, if we find areas of our parks from the first two rounds where guests get stuck, will we be able to change it up slightly in order to remove the snag?

The problem with using a tram is that you are crowding the guests immediately which will cause them to become tired and angry almost instantly.

You will be allowed minor edits from the previous rounds.

Minor edits include things like:

1. Path layout modifications
2. Foilage modifications
3. Building modifications
4. Small fixed ride relocations.

Things you cannot modify from previous rounds:

1. Roller coasters
2. Tracks pieces from roller coasters
3. Supports from roller coasters

If you have any further questions, let me know.

Well, I have college move-in day tomorrow. And RCT2 is not on my new laptop.

I think I may just send in what I got done. It's not the prettiest, but it has some neat things wrapped up in it.

^It's not that I couldn't move it, I just heard from a lot of people that Windows 7 did not cooperate with it. I have the disc for vanilla, WW, and TT, but I just haven't put it on this new computer.

Also I feel like I won't be playing games in college. But I dunno how that will turn out lol.

I know the same issue you are talking about. If you message me your e-mail, I will be able to send you the .dll files that allow you to play RCT2 on Windows 7.

Also, you will be playing games in college since I'm already in college with enough time to play.

I was going to (and can still submit if you want) but I was gone for the weekend. And it was sorta unfinished/unrefined.

I may finish the park anyways. I really liked what I had going there. Plus, now I won't have to follow restrictions and can get rid of that eyesore of a woodie! ^_^

I'm sure at least AJ would want to see some screenshots.

I never really got time to start (not enough time to re-learn tools and custom scenery) Sorry!
