^ New medicine was pretty good, what I didn't like about them though was that after their set the were selling cds off the stage which caused a massive push forward and I ended up standing behind a guy who was well over 6 feet tall for the headlining band
What are these for?

No Touche Amore with them? I missed what I'd assume was an amazing show a couple months ago...Touche Amore, Defeater, Code Orange Kids and Birds In A Row. Kicking myself in the ass for that...stupid work.

I got to shows on a regular basis as I also play shows with my bands around Los Angeles, and was lucky enough to go on tour once! Trying to do that again. But here are the notable ones I saw or ones that I would see a lot.

The White Stripes
CSS
Melt Banana (3 times!)
OOIOO
Ratatat
Animal Collective
Akron/Family
Mika Miko
No Age (played with them)
Abe Vigoda
Silver Daggers
The Babies
Lightning Bolt (amazing)
Deerhoof
The Dodos (visiter stuff, amazing)
Foot Village
****ed Up
Gravy Train!!!!
HEALTH
Ima Robot
Ladytron w/ The Faint
xbxrx
Urinals

There's a lot. A few bands I would love to see would be Queens of The Stone Age, My Bloody Valentine, Deerhunter, Tobacco/Black Moth Super Rainbow, Black Dice I donno. A bunch of poop.

Well, just had the honor of seeing Styx live at the Spokane Fair this past Thursday. The band was awesome, hit every note just as they do on their albums, and oh yeah, Come Sail Away and Renegade. Need I say more? :D

Well my local theater, a small venue, is hosting Lamb of god, and in flames, and then megadeath just 5 nights after. I can only afford one show, they're the same price. I can't decide which one to see.
What are these for?

Yea, they're coming back with a different line up of bands. I saw that and wondered what had happened.

Anyways I just attended the SF Outside Lands and LA's FYF Fest this past month. You can go onto their websites to see who I possibly might have seen. Didn't watch metallica at SFOL, btw, I watched Sigur Ros instead. I heard Metallica had a lot of fireworks and kept asking if outside lands was alive. haha

There's a bunch of bands coming into the area over the next 3 months that I'd like to catch, though Im sure I'll only see a few.

Just saw New Medicine for the second time this year on the 4th. It was a great concert, and a free one as well! The 3 other bands opening for them were local band. The two that sucked were Evolutions PerMinute and Framework, and the other band that was totally kickass and made me buy their album after the show was the VanMarter Project. Epic local band that actually did get signed and have been on tour all summer.

Saw Walk The Moon last month - first concert! It was just one of those small venues that took up a little room, but it was awesome (and it was free). The band is from Cincinnati (which is close by) and they are starting to get really popular really fast. I wouldn't doubt if they hit the radio (unfortunately) within the next year, and they had practically just started.
