well at least its free forming. looks kind of ridiculous, especially since we know they're more creative than this, but whatever. I probaly won't get to play anyway because I don't have a smart phone, and have no interest in gettng one
CKidd, yeah, I know what you mean. I held out as long as possible then my old flip phone died. Best deal was for a free Droid Charge on 2 yr contract. But I hardly use it all. Phone calls, a few texts and a poker app is all I use.
But back on track, that game looks pretty shotty imo. RCT 1 & 2 are great. After that...
Do Not Look At My Hard Hat Threads I Am Not Advertising My Rides In My Posts' So Please Don't Look At My (insert Coaster name here) It's Not In The Hard Hat Area
You're never going to get 2D RCT on phones. Because of how they were made it is impossible to "port" them. They would have to be re-implemented from scratch.
It's also worth noting that they've said repeatedly that this is just the beginning of the groundwork for a future all-encompassing theme park title. They're starting with the new coaster-designing system on a free app/game.
I'm not liking the graphical direction though. Looks, to be honest, stupid. Kids surfing on the coaster and such.
It goes back to it just being a game and people having fun with crazy stuff versus what NL is, for people are so focused on having the perfect shape etc. That takes away from the fun of NL imo. Maybe this could be good. After all, look at the success in sales figures for their other developments.
