Okay, I'm in need of a little help here. Near the end of November I'm planning on heading to Texas for a 2 week trip on the themeparks there. In the week of arrival on the 20th I've noticed that Sea World San Antonio is a full week open. So I guess there is some kind of holiday going on then.
How are the crowds in that time in Sea World and Fiesta Texas?

Also since I'm "nearby" I'd definitely want to stop at the Kemah Boardwalk and the Galveston Pleasure Pier. But it's a bit hard to find proper opening hours from Kemah Boardwalk. It says the boardwalk is year round open but the rides are opened seasonal... When does that season end?
I don't know if anyone up here could provide me the info? It would be a waste if we took the trip to Kemah only to find out that the rides are closed.

So who is Texa, and when do we get to watch her strip?

Superman and Poltergeist will be closed at Fiesta, fyi (Rattler (duh) and the kiddie coaster too I think). Both parks don't draw that massive of holiday crowds though.

Kemah's rides are open every day but generally open starting at noon and are kinda staggered opening with Boardwalk Bullet opening last usually. Most times when I've gone they get it up and running around 2-3. Also, it will be running unless it is closed for trackwork, which they usually do in the winter. I would contact them and find out.

Oh, and if you go to SFOT, Freeze and Batman will be closed also. November-December is a terrible time to visit the Texas parks.

Hmmm... That sucks then... Oh well, we're probably gonna make the best time out of it.

And contacting Kemah would be hard, since I can't find an e-mail address anywhere on the website to contact them. The only way to contact them is through calling and that's an expensive joke for us Europeans...

Why don't you wait for Iron Rattler to open? Seems pointless to go now....

Became me and mom need an excuse to ride some new rollercoasters somewhere in the USA. [lol] We've seen Florida and California. So Texas is like the only other region left in the states that is open in November/December.

We're gonna grab some seasonpasses as well, so we can go back next year for the iron rattler and such. [:)]

Yeah, I don't know why you would schedule your visit in November when all of Fiesta's best coasters are closed and so are many at SFOT. At least NTAG is open and that's a top 5 coaster in the USA.

You could go to Galveston and ride Iron Shark! Or Vegas, that's always fun... Have you been to Georgia? SFOG

Well, that's simply because Six Flags doesn't mention that closed ride stuff on the site?

Iron Shark was also on the plans since it's pretty close to Kemah. Vegas & SFOG: Been there, Done that.
