Shadows in No Limits

It's been a while since I have been a part of this site, and i'm planning on contributing again soon enough. I got a new computer that can actually handle NL amazingly well so i'll be able to produce more rides and rate with increased, erm... accuracy (best way I could put that lol).

Either way, my question is, why aren't shadows showing up in the simulator for me? I read a forum post that stated if any change is made to the terrain in anyway, whether it'd be making the terrain high/low detail, or even enabling water, the shadows will not appear. That's basically saying that you have to keep the terrain completely bare to have shadows... is that true?

I remember NL being able to support shadows with any track, but then again, my previous computer sucked so I might not have been able to tell the difference. XD

That's true, any changes will remove shadows.
