It's good that you've got your own opinion and things, but... please don't really be as ignorant as this paragraph suggests that you are.
Be aware that you just compared voting for someone simply because they believe in the same sect of mythical sky being as them, regardless of policies - to voting for someone because their policies include equal rights for all fellow Humans. And what's worse, you did it with literally no sense of irony.
I would use irony if I wasn't giving an honest viewpoint carried by many people in our country. A vote for Romney isn't a vote for a mythical sky-being; it's a vote to uphold the Christian family values that they hold in such high regard. Things like gay marriage and abortion are the most important thing to these people, and you're not really in a position to tell them that they're wrong.
No one is in a position to tell anyone they're wrong about anything. But I, as everyone else, certainly am in a position to ridicule their stupidity.
I never fail to be shocked by the level of stupidity that can be found in the developed nations of the world, but none shock me more so than the US. Now obviously, I'm not saying everyone in the US is stupid, far from it - but there is a very obvious divide between modern, intelligent, forward thinking America and... the Bible Belt. One thing that is not a shock, though, is that it is that region from whence the most stupid cometh.
