Can't America have non lifeguard water slides?

In Europe all of the slides seem to not have any lifeguards at all, just traffic lights to tell when the top person can go and a sensor that triggers when the person exiting the slide. Massanutten Waterpark has a system like this but they still need lifeguards. Why can't America have slides that are open almost all of the time even when there not enough or no lifeguards at all. Crazy American closes a water slide unexpectedly because there is a shortage of lifeguards to monitor the slide. I was denied the opportunity to use the waterslide last evening because the slide closed at 6:30PM even thought on Claude Moore's website it said the slide was open until 8:00PM. One of the lifeguards that I talked to, said that a few lifeguards went home early so they had to close the tube water slide.

Because American kids are stupid. I can bear witness to numerous times that kids have gotten hurt on these slides doing stupid things when nobody was around to tell them otherwise.

Because if American kids are left unsupervised on waterslides, chances are they will seriously injure, maim, or kill themselves and others around them... I guess.

Last summer I was on a tube water slide with lights in it at a small water park. The tube slide was 16 feet tall and 83 feet long. I was riding on my shoulder blades and ankles to go the fastest possible after I flung myself into the tube. I ended up slammed into a kid's back at full speed and force. The kids had been grouping around the exit of the slide to be splashed when people shot out. They even tossed at ball back and forth right in front of the exit of the slide. This slide was not roped off like most tube slides are.

Americans are absolutely oblivious to common sense. that's why.

One time at Cub Run Rec center in Chantilly I was flying down the tube slide there, that performed two helices at a fast pace and exited into a security runout. I happened to be looking down the tube as I was rocketing down and was nearing the end of the last turn that went back inside. I then saw what was some kid was in the security runout pool. I instantly jammed my hands to both sides of the tube to slow down as much as I could. I still ended up bumping into the kid, but at a severely reduced speed, instead of at full speed. I avoided possibly, a potential injury to myself and the other swimmer in my path.

The answer is plain and simple...lawsuits. Americans and their lawyers are lawsuit happy.

Remember the person who sued McDonalds for coffee that was hot, spilled it in their own lap and got burned. They won because it was not labeled as hot and may cause a severe burn.

Claude Moore needs to have some backup lifeguards to operate the slide if two or more lifeguards leave their job for the day.

No, if America hadn't such a lawsuit culture it would be perfectly fine...
