[RESULTS] CCH Bio Dome Contest

so how is everyone's coaster comming? I'm just finishing up the on the supports.

My cartexture is done along with the track and some of the supports. I'm around 35% complete with the supports.

huh, your coaster should be done. You uploaded it to the exchange which locks your status as you can read in the first post. When you upload it to the exchange you won't be able to add anything anymore (or send in a new version).

you should have read the rules first before you uploaded it cause now you can't update your submission.

that sucks, reading all the instructions can really save yo alot of time, i remember in the second round of the match up contest that I didn't read that it was suppost to be and inverted B&M so I made the coaster as a "normal" B&M and had to change it two days befor eht due date[:(]

well, my coaster hasnt been started! yeh, anyways, i got an idea so thats good.

lol. BTW my coaster has a big surprise in it.

Quick question. I have three trains running but theres two things i need to ask.

1. When you first start, the first train goes out, and the second train doesnt even stop in the station, it just goes through and launches, but the trains do get back to the station safely. Is that okay?

2. After the trains get going into regular cycles, there is slight stacking, but i think its realistic at under 15 seconds, so could that fly or d i have to try and get it to 0 stacking?

1.How did you manage to get the second train to not stop in the station???
2.I'm sure that's ok, as long as the wait isn't a few mins.

make sure that the 2nd train isnt in the station to strat with, that may be the problem.

OK, i see how that could work now, i agree with shortkid, make the station only long enough for the first train, and make sure that if you have a brake that holds the second train just behind it, that it's long enough so that there's no more problems.

yea, that happened to me many times before, it just works when I make the final brakerun farther from the station and it helps if you have a piece of track between the station and the final brakerun too.

Uploading it to the exchange is allowed but it will lock your status, meaning that you can't sent in an update anymore. You can also email it to gforceaddict@coastercrazy.com that won't lock your status.

No, its weird, My staion is just long enough for one train,and I have the brake a little behind it as it goeas around a couple turns to get into the station but it just cruises through.

Maybe you didn't set it as a blocksegment?

Could it be that you are using friction wheels in the station and adjusted the acceleartion? If the accelaration (sp?) of the wheels is higher than the deceleration of the brake, the train won't stop.
Just one of many possible explanations.

The due date is the 13th right? cause there seems to be some confustion. it says teh 13th on the rules, but some peeps say that you told em it was the 30th??? so what is it?

yeah GFA post an event with the due date as we do for events in the events calendar

13th? I allways thought it was the 30th or 31st. If it is the 13th, I can't take part.

It's so hot here, that I can't concentrate on the editor 10 minutes straight... I thought I would just start next week... lol
