Sort of inspired by cool5's flat rides topic.

By the end of its last season the laser had lost a few restraint pads, not the restraints themselves, but the padding around them, made it look sketchy but it was still a great ride
What are these for?

I hate ultratwisters with a passion and I've never even been on one. If alton had ended up with one of those instead of Nemesis I don't think I'd like rollercoasters.

^ Alton didn't wanted to build an Ultratwister, but a Pipeline coaster, from Arrow :

Glad we ended up with Nemesis anyways.

Why would that be? You've never ridden one of these so it can't be that you disliked the ride experience.
Personally I love those Ultra Twisters, brilliant rides! Too bad their capacity is very low.

Some simple, yet crazy stuff~

I dislike their aesthetics (I know its a bad reason but those rides especially bother me) and the closed nature of the ride. I can't see how they provide anything that colossus didn't (heartline rolls). Maybe its short sighted but if I never ride one to prove me wrong or otherwise I won't be too fussed.

The random supports attached to the crossties on the blue shuttle thing are really special

I love how people talk about this as a cheap, pathetic, "low-end" B&M coaster that's barely worth riding, then proceed to gush over Bizarro/Medusa, which is essentially a mirror version of the same ride. Besides, the other day on GL:FF I saw a herd of cattle running behind the ride operating area.

Actually I've only heard the Bizzaro theme brings a little character to an other wise cookie cutter ride, not saying it wasn't worth riding, but the difference is simply the scenery amplifies the experience, and when it comes down to it thats what draws us to roller coasters, the experience.

To be honest, I found the parking lot to be quite thrilling. The high speed around parking lines amplified the feeling of speed and the overall dull colors actually created the impression of an old speed machine -- something along the lines of a steel looping woodie. The scenery was certainly better than Goliath's, which was pretty much a coaster diving into a bowl of cement a couple times (props to the foresty queue line though).

I'd honestly like them to put it back to medusa at this point. The speakers hardly work anymore.

Thats because its before they got rid of the best hill on the ride, the double dip and replaced it with a mid course break run.

Is the loop even part of the ride? Doesn't look like it.

Most likely no. How would it even get past it?
