I'm also very interested to see what the trains are like, but this isn't the SW7 construction topic [lol]

In order to do that, you realise that I would have to get up at like 2AM, if we were to be at the park for 9:30...?

Buy a helicopter, gosh.

train from Luton to derby then from derby to Uttox for 9:12 and pick-up from there or bus to the towers, its easy.

HOWEVER. it was not long ago that i worked out that mid week from the Midlands on public transport it was actually possible to enjoy a single day at Disney Paris than at Alton Towers if everything was brought at face value

Hmmm... Would be great to meet up with some of you guys again. But for me it pretty much depends on when this meet is going to be. (Asking off work, having enough money, etc.)

I'll keep track of this topic, if the money and time is there. I could combine it to a nice and small UK trip. [:)]

Ok then, so, we know the new opening date: May 23rd.

So shall we do an updated list of who will be there on the day?

I've sorted out on Facebook with MKingy and jpecool, that they definitely are coming, so the new list at the moment looks like this:

-me
-MKingy
-jpecool
-your name here

Looking to be on the park for 9:30, is that a decent time, or are people looking to be on the park even earlier?

And where will we meet? Entrance? Inside the entrance? Smiler?
