So I thought I'd waken this topic, seeing as this is actually genuinely happening in about 6 weeks time - and I am mad excited.
I have some actual dates now for what we're doing and when, and what things we're already signed up to doing.
We're flying direct from Manchester to Vegas on the 4th of August and should be arriving in Vegas at about 11am local time. First day I imagine will be sleeping and eating, then discovering a little bit of Vegas in the evening. Then we've got a full day in Vegas on the 5th of August to just do whatever the hell we want, which I imagine will involve spending most of our money
. Then on the 6th we're booked in for a helicopter ride from the roof of our hotel to the Grand Canyon, we land at the Grand Canyon and get to look around and photo for an hour or so, then we fly in/over/around the canyon in the helicopter, and back to the hotel.
We fly from Vegas on the 7th and get into L.A. at about 11am local time, again, and we're there until the evening of the 18th of August when we fly home and get back to England for around 9am on the 19th. Quite excited about the flight home because we're on an A380 and it'll be the first time I've been on one.
From the 7th to the 18th, we'll be in L.A. and we've got passes that give us entry to quite literally hundreds of things. We've got entry to SFMM on 2 separate days, entry to KBF, entry to both Disney parks, entry to Universal Studios, then loads and loads of other things that we probably won't get time to do all of! A good few of the things that A113 mentioned are on our passes for free entry, or are otherwise just free entry anyway so we'll be fitting in a few of the things he mentioned for sure.
Basically, we've got a lot of stuff we now don't have to pay for once we're there, which is sweet.
Still up for meeting up with people at parks between the dates mentioned above, or just for some grub somewhere!
